Alpine History

The founding pioneers of Red River New Mexico were a diverse, hearty and colorful group of people. They had the same vision of cool summers away from the heat of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and many other states.

Red River was a great vacation destination not only in the summer but the winter as well. The owners and founders of Alpine Lodge were definitely an integral part of this unique group.

My door faced the yard and the River was right there with a bench to sit and enjoy my coffee and nature. Clean and comfortable bed. Yes it’s older but has great charm!

Very clean and quiet, the staff is always professional and helpful. The motel is older but well kept with modern amenities. We have stayed there many times and have never been disappointed. We will be back.
